THE FEATURE OF IFGI
The Institute for Green Infrastructure (IfGI) is an independent entity that focuses on the infrastructure policy, planning, development, and provision in which environmental sustainability is fully taken into account. IfGI works both in domestic and international fora and will build a networking with other entities with the same vision. Both economic and social infrastructure could be designed as green. With collaboration and alliance wit other research institutions, IfGI will make available experts and specialists to work on the following undertakings.
															- GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING. Create your own GI Plan. The GI Plan builds on the assessment by identifying strategies for GI protection and restoration such as recommended zoning, easements, restoration or trail connections. This can include strategic community engagement.This activity entails inventorying green assets, ensuring habitats are connected and environmen t-friendly utiltities and faciities are incorporated, and identifying opportunities for their protection and/or restoration, and developing a coordinated strategy to channel development and redevelopment to the most appropriate locations.
 - CONSERVATION AND CONCESSION. Both concession of infrastructure development and conservation of natural resources can go hand in hand and still keep environment sustainability intake.
 - GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN. Green infrastructure plans, green print plans or resiliency plans for cities, towns or counties.
 -  RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT of 
Green Infrastructure. Alliance and collaboration with other research centers both international and national will be undertaken. - TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION. Lead training workshops including professional 
certification credits - PROVIDE CONSULTATION AND ADVOCACY on green economy and green infrastructure. Advice is available to localities and organizations who would like assistance to develop their own GI Assessment or Plan. It can be tailored to specific needs such as facilitating a community engagement
 - PUBLIC COMMUNCATION, EDUCATION, AND PARTICIPATION through seminar, workshop, and other means of public engagement.
 - OUTREACH MATERIALS. 
Develop a wide range of outreach materials such as PowerPoint presentations, fact sheets, display posters, guidance manuals, dashboard, and website content. - TRIPLE HELIX MODEL. The Institute aims at the establishment of “triple helix model” in green infrastructure planning, design, and construction in which cooperation and collaboration between government, industry, and academy on the grren economy and green infrastructure will become a best practice of the IfGI.
 - PUBLICATION. Publishing research reports and annual progress report. The report will also be taken from annual conference on Green Infrastructure held every end of the year. The research report will be a part of Annual Report of the IfGI.
